Hello frends,
I have been away on holiday to Florida, wile I was there I went to the Kennedy Space Center. It was wheel chair accesibul, you go thru a normal manul door althow it did have a button to open the door for you wich was good. Then you go up a littel ramp and you go in to a room for a prevuwe of space. There is an exibiction there of Atlantis Space Shuttle, I faund it was easy to get in to as it was graund level. There was kind of anuf space in side. I was abul to get up close to see and tuch the levers in the shuttle. Its all open plan bilding, when you get near to the bottom, theres a coridoor that is echoey and theres lots of noyse a raund from the astrownort’s, but that didn’t bother me.
There wasent eney elavitors in the bilding allthow we dident need any becose it was all ramps and easy to get a raund. The coridoors were relly wide, you culd fit tow weelchairs down together if you wontd to. The exibictons, shuttles and simulates were accesibule, I culd get right up to them whith out pepel in the way. I was abul to tuch things and explure indipendntley.
If you are ever in Florida, I wuld defintley recamend a visit to the Kennedy Space Center I loved it!
I have put a link at the bottom of the blog to my video on YouTube if you wuld like to see my vlog of my visit.
Thanks!
Myles.
